This man calls all time of the day & night. When I dont answer the phone he leaves threatening messages. He stated that he was from Attorney Damon Marshall's office & that his name is Jimmy Lawson & that I have 3 cases filed against my social security#.
this number called my work today sometime and told my boss's that they needed to speak to me an that it was a legal matters that they werent able to discuss with my employeers what is this all about an what legal rights do i have
These people have called me 3 times today and the last time they called they said they represented some other legal service and that I was going to be arrested in 20 minutes along with my mom and sister. I had my attorney call them and they stopped.now they are calling from a new number and saying they represent damen marshall who is a childs attorney in family law.
I recieved a call from the number 281-203-8131 yesterday at 7am. I didnt pick up but tried calling back several times and kept getting a voicemail for attorney Daman Marshall. I finally got someone to pick up today and he immediately asked for my attorneys information. I told him I do not have an attorney. He said he would read me my affadavit about why I have a warrant out for my arrest (of course I'm freaking out at this point). He said that I had recently gotten a payday loan (I had applied for one of those one online but was not approved) and that the company Cash Advance had put a warrant out for my arrest since I had not paid them back via ETF. I told him I never got a cash advance. He said he wasnt a bill collector and that he was just calling to let me know about my affadavit and get my attorneys info. He than asked if I had any questions and than hung up on me. He called back a few minutes later and said we had been disconnected and wanted to know which action I was going to take with all this. I told him I still had no idea what he was talking about and I hung up on him.
I called my husband freaking out thinking cops were going to show up on my doorstep any second. He assured me that even if this was a true bill collector they would have to bring charges through the DA office and wouldnt have some random person call. My husband tried calling the number 10 times with no one picking up. Finally someone picked up and said "Why do you keep calling me!" and hung up.
I just tried calling a minute ago and the same guy picked up. I told him that I now know he is a scam artist and to please not call me anymore or I would report him to the authorities. He said "Ok, I will not call you anymore".
