Same exact message left on my phone. I do work on occasion for the FI & the dapartment of IRS is one of them. I called a Special Agent that I know. She told me #1 We don't call you. #2 We don't tell you we are sending an officer to arrest you #3 The IRS communicates through the USPS & it is not uncommon for it to come certified mail. This is a hoax. Simply block their number &/,or tell them you will contact the IRS yourself and handle anything dealing with the IRS directly. When I did that they hung up on me. They forget that not everyone scares very easy. They come off sounding professionals even give you their badge #. They are creeps preying on the elderly & people who don't know better.
Received a pre-recorded message from a person named Jack Henderson stating that he has an arrest warrant for me and I had 24 hours to call him to settle the complaint
I received the same call from Jack Henderson saying there's an arrest warrant for me. I laughed so hard because I know the IRS never calls you! So to have some fun, I return the call and give a fake name. When man asks me to verify my address, I refuse. He wants to know why, so I say "you should have my address - you tell me what address you have and I will confirm or deny." He tries to insist and repeats the arrest warrant threat. I tell him "come get me." He again threatens so I tell him to go try his scam somewhere else at which point he gets mad and hangs up on me. Hahaha.
