Called and stated he was from TX Hwy Patrol. Made reference to fallen officer. I've been scammed by them before. Told him I was not interested and he hung up in my face. How rude!

Got a call around 2 today. My daughter answered the phone they asked for me.. She went to take a message and they told her it was an emergency and told her they would call back.
Got a call from the same number. Also said he was from the Highway Patrol and was raising money for fallen officers. I searched this organization on the internet and it appears that they support Highway Patrol museums. I found their annula financial report on the internet and expected to see money going to families of fallen officers. However, the money appears to go primarily for salaries of those who work for this organization. Only one approximately $1500 scholarship was listed. I didn't thoroughly check the financial document but read enough to know that I would never give them any money. I believe that they misrepresent themselves as supporting fallen officers.
