called my job and asked for me, i told her that she was not suppose to call me on my job and she said that
law don't apply to them. i hung up and she called back and i repeated the number that was showing up on caller id and told her i was going to report her to the bbb. about 10 minutes later someone else called blocking the number and left a message with my boss to call them. the number is showing for a locksmith service in
houston tx
They just called my house and said they were micheal goldstein from the non-compliance office, and were formally notifying my brother, said that they had my number as a contact for my brother and that he hadn't responded to a formal notice and that his file has been released to processing for non compliance. Said that he needs to contact them immediately and said good luck... This person is an idiot, first of all you can't formally notify someone of anything indirectly by phone without court permission... Non compliance office doesnt exist.
Oh my god, this is WEIRD! I called the number back 3 times (to make sure I was dialing right) and it keeps going to a very nice woman in california.. Who has a 916 area code. I left her a pretty [***] message and she called back confused and her phone number came up as a 916 on my caller id. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM. I called it back after she called me back because I thought maybe I dialed it without the area code because I do live in 916, but it went back to her again. Wowsers this is a complex one. I know there are smartphone apps that let you call from a fake number of your choice but Ive never seen one that calls back a completely different number. This poor lady has prob gotten alot of weird calls. This person is definately a hacker.
