Do with this information as you will. It is all public knowledge if you know where/how to look. I do know that if FMA does not stop calling me for fictitious debts Mr. Janakes will get the opportunity to explain it to me personally. I anticipate a short conversation.
Calls from this number have come in as early as 8:30 AM and as late as 9:30 PM. I am not the person they ask for and I have no knowledge of the person they ask for, and I press the number they ask me to if I was not this person. Still they continue to call. I am on the do not call list.
I got a call yesterday from a different number 877-219-9929. This is what I wrote about that number: I am the first report so I called back the number and got a recording saying that I could receive a100.00 rebate voucher that I can redeem at major retailers today for 1.95 (and to have my credit card ready). No danger in that right. When I google them it says they are a collection agengy to whom I owe no one at all. Perhaps this is a collection agency calling the wrong person and enticing me to listen to them just to get a card?
Other numbers they use are 866-375-4758 866-904-1034 and 800-725-6004 and they are a collection company.
NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP THESE LAZY COLLECTION AGENCIES who call everyone with the same name instead of looking up the right one (all Joe smiths instead of Joe Smith Jr. or Joe H. Smith instead of Joe P. Smith)
Some collection agencyies are trying to collect on 10 - 20 year old debts.

This was posted on this web site:
The Fair Debt Collection Act (FDCPA) was put into place To give people legal rights when it comes to collection agencies and collection attorneys. If this collection agency is calling you for a debt you owe or a debt that is not yours, they could be violating your rights.
IF YOU ARE BEING CONTACTED BY ANY COLLECTION AGENCY, get in contact with: http://www.fdcpacompliance.com/ asap so they can determine what rights these bottom feeders have violated and take action. More and more American’s find themselves being hounded by debt collectors as a result of our country’s recent economic downturn. The good news is that harassment is an illegal act according to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). The great news is that each infraction is PUNISHABLE UP TO $1,000.00 TO THE CONSUMER for statutory damages, and possibly more for actual damages! The offending agency also has to pay your attorney’s fees. The only thing that the consumer generally has to do is help to gather and provide information.
