I think this person is back at it, still after my piano. Only this time the name is Gary Hussey, no phone #, but same kinda story. This is what he emailed to me -

However, my daughter works with United State Postal Services (USPS) and we will be glad to pay with a USPS Money Order. She has also arranged with a picker/carrier who will come for the pickup of the Piano at your address or any public place of your choice. The money orders will cover your payment and my picker's payment. Once you've received the money orders, take it to your bank and get it cashed, deduct your payment for the piano and send the remaining funds to the picker for the picking up of the piano. I'll appreciate it if you consider it sold to us via this means.

I would like to know how your name should appear on the USPS Money Order and what valid residential/office address or public place should we mail it to via UPS courier service.We are ready to make payment as soon as we get your maing details. Thanks for selling the piano to us via this means.

I feel so violated!  (OK, maybe not.  I knew it was a scam from the get -go.

I got EXACTLY the same message about a piano I'm selling in Boise.  I smelled a scheme, so I Googled and thankfully found you all.  What on earth is this individual's motivation?  Just to become internet famous or something?

I put up a wedding dress on craigslist and this guy contacted me. He said his name was Rio Fernando and wanted to buy the dress for his daughter who lived in Rhode Island and was getting married on the "25th of December- which is Christmas Day in Rhode Island". This guy is a total fake.  He must have also changed his name from the other ones listed here because he sent me the exact same email.  I live in the southwest and he said he lived in the same state as me but had to fly "down" to RI for the wedding. Down from me is Mexico, so he is very obvious in his scams.  He wants to send me excess money to pay the carrier and he really needs the dress. It's less than a week to christmas now- no bride would wait this long to buy a dress.  This fact and him saying that Dec. 25 is christmas day in RI really sent up red flags. When I told him no, that I would only sell face to face, he still demanded for my info. He is a huge scammer. I hope he gets caught soon.
