Ha! I just got the same word for word message in response to a craigslist item i had for sale. I thought I smelled a rat.

Ditto, I have, so called money orders, two of them.. for my refurbished player Piano.  Script it the same as all above and below posts.   HE IS NOT VERY CREATIVE... HIS EMAIL IS RELATIVELY THE SAME... I GUESS IF IT (AIN'T) BROKE - DON'T fIX IT....  BE CAREFUL... CB

Thankfully I goggled this person's email address and found all of your responses!  Very skeptical from the beginning, I will not be responding to his email as I had an item up on Craigslist and he offered me more money for the item than I asked.  Not sure what the motive is here, but I will not be responding.

I so received 2 checks from this Yvette Fernandez. The first one was a fraud. Took it to the bank and they had me go to the local police station, they took a statement from me. This person first off sent me a check for $2000 when I was selling an item for $300. They said I should cash it and they would arrange for a mover to pick it up and then I was to give the remaining money to the mover. Today I received a different check..this time a cashier's check in the amount of $1850. And I called the bank listed (Peoples Bank) in Newton, NC and they said it is a fraud. So therefore this person has sent me 2 checks that did me no good. IF YOU CASH THESE CHECKS THEY GET RETURNED BACK TO THE PERSON WITH YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER STAMPED ON THE BACK. You give them access to your account, name, address, and phone number. BEWARE of this person. If it is too good to be true..then it probably is.

Thanks for the prompt response.. I am ready to buy it now for my son
and i am not in town at the moment as i am a Military been in camp in
for some time and due to the nature of my work, It hard to make a
phone calls and visiting of website are restricted but i squeezed out
time to check this advert and send you an email regarding it. I
insisted on PayPal because i don't have access to my bank account
online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my PayPal
account, as i have my bank a/c attached to it, i will need you to give
me your PayPal email address and the price so i can make the payments
asap for it and please if you don't have PayPal account yet, it is
very easy to set up, go to www.paypal.com  and get it set up, after
you have set it up i will only need the e-mail address you use for
registration with PayPal so as to put the money through. I have a pick
up agent that will come and pick it after i have made the payments.I
