I received a call from this joker today saying he was from DEA Settle office and I needed to answer some important questions. My ID said the call was from Texas and the man spoke poor English/ I told him I wasn't answering any questions and I knew he was a fraud.
Just called here saying it was the "Justice Department". My BF didnt let him get far enough for a name or badge number he told the guy, you called wrong person dude, come and get me. I hope for this [***] that my BF never ever finds out who this fake caller is, thats all I have to say!!
Johnny Wheeler, form the San Antonio DEA branch called me to inform me that I was going to be arrested for the purchase of Vicodins over the Internet. He had an old address of mine and also asked me if I had received the letter from the Customs Department regarding this situations. He also informed me that agents were only minutes away from me, and they were on there way to ARREST me. He asked me if I had an attorney, because I was going to need one.
I informed him that there was no truth to this issue and come and arrest me if so inclined. I did not give him the chance to ask for monies, I hung up and gingerly walked away. It was extremely upsetting and no one should have to go through such an ordeal. These people need to be caught, and punished. Let's see how funny and good looking they are in women's shoes, while spending some time in the "Big" house.
Several "red flags" for people to remember: if you were going to be arrested by either law enforcement or the DEA, they wouldn't call ahead of time and "warn" you. Also, if you actually were caught up in something illegal, you would have your day in court and that's when you would probably get a fine - and you certainly wouldn't pay for it with some pre-paid, reloadable card like Vanilla, or Green Dot - or Western Union.
I received a voice mail from Officer Johnny Wheeler with the DEA telling me that he is going to arrest me for purchasing diet pills on the internet 10 years ago. He even claimed that he has a search warrant for my house. Thanks to everyone for sharing the number with the public, so that we are all aware that this is a scam.
