these peope called and said the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and I needed to respond rigtht away. The message was on my answering machine . So I called and no answer every time I call. So I blocked that number .
Received the call around 11:15AM CST on 4-28-15 from 720-594-6564. I do not answer out-of-state calls and this one was from Colorado. Their voice mail message said they were the IRS and they were filling a law suit against me. I was instructed to call 281-694-4099 immediately. I called about 90 minutes later, let it ring at least 20 times, no one answered so I hung up. I figured it had to be a scam but I wanted to get some info from them, but they didn't answer.
I got a phone call from 280-305-0000. I don't answer numbers I don't know, so I let the answering machine pick up. The message was from IRS and claimed to have tried to call me several times and had a lawsuit against me. I tried to call the number back a couple of times, and it said the call couldn't be completed as dialed. They gave me a number 281-694-4099 to call back, but I didn't call that one, I just tried the one they supposedly called from. Obviously a scam because the IRS does not contact you by phone.
