I just got this call on my cell phone and hung up after about a second. You can't hear the guy because he sounds like he's in a car, and I know for a fact I have no viruses on my computer, or if I do, I have 2 software programs to get rid of them. Viruses don't scare me much. Don't buy what this idiot is saying and as soon as he says "you have a virus on your computer" just hang up on him and block the number. How does some guy on your cell phone know what's on your computer. Anyone who falls for this is just an idiot.
Received a call at noon, Saturday, Oct. 13th, 2012. The name was Stephen Reeder. Since I have Reeder relatives I answered. No response, some static, I hung up.
I received a telephone call today in Ontario with a female warning me about the virus. I advised her that I was a police officer and was tracing the call. She hung up. What is this?
