I just received a phone call from this company. First they called my cell phone, I ignored the first one, then called back I answered it and told them I wasn't available and asked for their name and phone number Joe Mortin and he gave this number. Not less than 3 mins later he called my place of employment. First he couldn't pronounce my name write, and when I asked him how I could help him he said what? I repeated to him you have asked me 3 times if this "my name" and I have told you yes and 3 times I have asked you how can I help you. Then he finally told me that he was calling to tell me that he had a Chief Security Officer that needed to speak to me about a legal matter. Next the Chief Security officer got on the phone, I aske his name and stated his name was Lance Morris. I then asked him where he was calling from he said he was calling from and Attorney's office calle Kerr & Herndershott. I then asked him who the company was, the amount, how much I owe now and when this was done. He stated that it was Cash America, I took a payday loan out on December 16th, 2010 and I now owe $586. He wanted to know how I was going to take care of this. He did state that I it was a pressing matter and I was due in court in the next few days.
I did come back at him stating first off, I do have payloans out, but I pay mine in full all the time, secondly I have never used Cash America, thirdly I have already reported your company to the Better Business Bureau, and lastly I have already contacted my attorney to report this scam. He then told me to get lost! Humph what does that tell you SCAM!!
But not only after I told him all of this and he told me to get lost he called my boyfriend cell phone for me!
How the hell can I get them to stop this scam harrassment?
