Have gotten at least three calls from this number over past few days.  Caller ID says TEXAS.  I don't answer unrecognized calls.  They left no message.

Same thing happening to me. It rings about 3 or 4 times and as soon as I answer, it hangs up. No message. This is happens nearly every weekday.  Very irritating. I am near Dallas.

Fed Up, you must be turning 65.  This is from an insurance company, according to above posts.
However, there are phone calls out there, that when you pick up, they will automatically charge
to your phone account, so BEWARE of that!
I thought my number is on the DO NOT CALL List, apparently I'm hearing, that's not working.

That is an urban legend that callers to your number can automatically charge to your phone account.
Please post a link to an article on a real news site that describes such an event.
