No message. ph# was the Caller ID. Guess they weren't calling my congressional campaign about why most Americans do not owe income taxes and if they qualify to stop paying and filing.
I almost never answer calls with just a number and a location (or less), but since I was expecting a service call, and the ID said Houston, I picked up. No one answered at first. When I asked the purpose of the call, a vivacious female voice identified herself as Emily, and said she was sorry, but she'd had a little problem with her headset. Then she recovered her composure and instantly went into full Tour Guide Barbie mode, and in her extremely perky voice started touting a resort stay for which we had apparently qualified. Two sentences in I tried to stop her, but she just kept right on going. I realized after my second attempt to interrupt that it was probably a recorded message, and just hung up.
This is the second time I have gotten this exact message. i thought she said she was having problems with her husband, not headset! I got a similiar patter form the same perky Emily voice with another awkward but different beginning from a different Houston number. I live in Houston and i'm stopping answering any calls with Houston caller ID's
