No message. ph# was the Caller ID. Guess they weren't calling my congressional campaign about why most Americans do not owe income taxes and if they qualify to stop paying and filing.
I answered thinking it was family or a friend calling from someone else's phone, but nope. Got the exact same message. I said "don't not call me again" twice then hung up.
Very annoyed with all the scammers.
I received this exact same call. About 60 seconds into the call, I said "No thank you" and hung up. A couple weeks later I answer the call and it's the SAME lady "adjusting her headset." I then realized it was a clever way to make the call sound natural and real life. But it only works ONCE.
You have to be careful with those yes/no questions, too. I read recently about a new scam where they get you to answer a question in the affirmative (i.e. when they ask "Can you hear me okay?" you answer "Yes"), then they use the recording of your voice saying "yes" to authorize all sorts of things.
