Well... I JUST received an email from Jeff Scott Clark Baker in reply to an investment ad I put up on craigslist. . The name itself should ring alarm bells and that is exactly why I googled the name and.. vola..what do I find out? Just another scam.. thank you Sal for your initial post..
I post on Craigslist that I was looking for a private personal loan. I have been contacted by several scammers posing as lenders offering to help. Well I received an email from a Jeff Scott Clark Baker stating that he could give me a loan. The first red flag was that the copy of the loan term he offered me was quoting British lending laws. The second red flag was when I called the company and they stated that no one with that name worked for there company. The last red flag was that the contact number I was give to contact him at was a Houston, Texas number. When I called the number and listened to the voicemail. It was an individual with an Indian or Pakistani voice. So be aware of anyone saying there with; JEFFERIES MORTGAGE FINANCE, INC.

Im so glad i read this i also posted on craigslist that i needed a loan and a jeff scott clark baker emailed me thay he could help. Now i know it's a scam.

Thank you guys for the comment. I was given the same agreement and false info. I checked thoroughly before embarking on such a risky venture.There is a scammers list online but his name or company was not listed. Luckily I saw this site and now I will reply and tell him off.
