I answered the phone, being a local number and all, and was addressed by my name. It was a call center call. The woman went into some shpeell about kids with cancer and the Jaycee's. I hung up. Just another scammer "professional fundraiser" that keeps 90% of every dollar collected.
I have received so many calls from this number. Whenever I answer, no one says anything and they hang up. I called the number back today. The person who answered called me by my name and started going into her pitch for the Texas Jaycees. I interrupted her and told her that I didn't appreciate receiving over 30 calls in the past week and then being hung up on when answering. I asked her very nicely to remove me from her list. She said that she would. We'll see.
Don't you mean "Alibabble?" What does someone's phone provider have to do with these calls -- or with the Philippines or India? Do you work for the Jaycees, and want to make us think someone else is doing this? Or, do you have a gripe with your cable company and go around trying to blame everything in the world on them?
