Are these people serious?  Talking about a law suit of 50,000

If you had a lawsuit against you, you would receive a court summons via process server (or in some cases, certified or registered mail).  You wouldn't receive a vague, threatening phone call.

They just called me threatening me telling me if I didn't pay $1997 right now on the phone I would end up with a lawsuit for money laundering and fraud. Scared the crap out of me.  Asked for a supervisor and she couldn't tell me anything, and told them I was calling the police.
