Then misrepresented pre-existing relationship: "we inspect and clean your system every 3 years"
At least it was local, the 3 calls a day misreprenting themselves as Windows or Microsoft are not in US.
But local may be all the more reason it should be investigated - a company that has to mask their identity may be more likely a burglar than a 'legitimate' business.
To think the FTC is funded to deal with this problem.... and we will go broke paying their pensions....
If a candidate swore they would enforce the do not call list they would get my vote.
Absurd that we have a law and an agency that does little if anything to deal with this.
But then look who contributes - the cell phone providers - the same group that moves up to higher profit margins when we give up on our wireline phones and go cellular.
