I got the same call you did kathi!called the police & they said a lot of people have been getting this call & it is a scam! don't call it back! it sounded like a recording!
Message says to call back number to speak to a federal agent about appearing before a magistrate judge regarding a federal criminal offense. Caller does not identify himself or any agency. the ominous tone did not sway me to call back!!

Got the same call early this morning, said the same thing about a magistrate, and I believe he added"indictment" to the spiel, and that they had tried to contact me and this was my last chance. Caller id said Damascus, MD. The feds don't call like that, it's a scam! And some people fall for it, otherwise they'd find another criminal enterprise.
