When they called me all I heard was a beep, then nothing. I said hello a couple times and then hung up. I called back and it said "Welcome to WCA Subscriber Services. Your number...." then trailed off into silence.
A call from this number just now offered me a "free home security system." The caller identified itself (Robocall) as originating from WCA. Caller ID indicated it was an "out of Area" call (not so, based on the exchange).
This is a scam, clearly a scam.
I have reported this call (and recomend everyone report such calls like this) to the FTC.
this phone number here 301 232 5690 only had answer system when called my home number can anyone tell me who this phone number and is it a business number also i am sing up to the do not call me list so why is this person caling when i listed under the do not call me ?
Called me 3/27/12. I answered but there was just silence. It said something about being a WCA subscriber when i called back. i tried to remove my number from their list but after i put int he number it just hung up and gave me the busy signal.
