A call blocker will probably slow the calls down, try blocking the number. If you don't want to spend money, shut down any answering device and wait it out. If they get nothing from your number, they quit calling after a while since they can't profit from numbers without an answer.
The # has called left several messed up voice mails about being the IRS and asking me to call back right away .....I called back and the guy said Hello in a forgein accent....I said I was asked to call this # he said OK name and I laughed and said NOPE need to know who this is ( I did not say I knew they thought they where the IRS when the guy answered and did not say IRS right away that was a red flag.) He said this is the IRS give me a name ....I said NOPE I will have hubby call you if he is interested and hung up .....
I am getting multiple calls today requesting a call back regarding time sensative issues and threatening legal action. They do not leave a name or company and also getting same message from other 301 numbers today.
I received two voice message today, 3 hours apart, from 301-244-6335. Recording saying they are IRS. I have called this number back a few weeks ago because of a message they left. Foreign person answered, couldn't understand him, and I told him it was a scam, they were not IRS, and I was on the do no call list. He said "ok". I have complained about this to do not call registry, but not helping. My goal is to call them until they answer and remove my number.
