Got a call from this number 301 271 8070 on my cell phone. I answered it and immediately a male voice says "This is the sales department congratulations you have won a sweepstakes....I tried to ask "what sales department?" no reply voice kept going. I asked "Is this a recording?" voice continued. I had to stop/hang up the call. Obviously some kind of sales spam thing.
I receive calls every once in awhile from this number. It looks like you can call it back and press 9 to be removed from their call list. The recording is pretty broken up for me. I did call back again and when I pressed 9 and waited a bit, I get the message "you have been removed from our call list". Hope this helps others.
Unfortunately this doesn't help. I get calls 3-4 a day from this number & 301.271.8111, 8110, 8010, 8121, 8113, 8071 etc -butt heads will still call but just from different numbers! :(
