This person claims to be IRS saying I was going to be arrested for "tax evasion". That person who called claiming that they were from the IRS was foreign, and I told them that the IRS does not call people. I also blocked them on my phone.
Called four times in less than five minutes. One voicemail left. The person's accent was so thick I was barely able to understand what he was saying. Some business about tax evasion charges being filed against me. Funny thing is that it's my understanding that the IRS does not contact you by phone; always by physical mail. The other thing is that IF the IRS were to call they would probably use my legal first name, which this caller didn't. I smell a scam! I've added the number to my "SPAM" numbers list so it won't ring on my phone should they call again.
