This person claims to be IRS saying I was going to be arrested for "tax evasion". That person who called claiming that they were from the IRS was foreign, and I told them that the IRS does not call people. I also blocked them on my phone.
Recieved a voicemail from +1 301-327-6178. The message stated i was under investigation for tax evasion. It came from a foriegner with a very very thick accent, claiming to be from the IRS. When you call the number back they immediately answer with "No English" but you can hear call center agents in the background speaking.... in english. No matter what you say all they will say is "No English". Not sure what the angle is here, but i am guessing that they are recording people who call back and matching them to phone numbers, probably gathering information to attempt identity theft. Hopefully someone does something about this.
Just got the same call. foreigner with a tick accent. said his mane was Spencer Rankin and his id # was 30755. Gve me a BS case number and that I was under investigation for tax evasion I hung up and tried to call back with no answer
