As soon as I said hello, a computerized voice said he (don't remember if he gave his name) was calling for the Maryland Police Association (I searched and there is no such thing). I said I only talk to human beings and hung up. Most likely a scam. I've been getting more and more of these robo calls that are computerized voices. They try to sound human and answer your responses in a believable way. You ask, Are you a person. And the voice says yes I am, why would you think I'm not. I think I'm getting pretty good at detecting these computer voices. I just hang up now.
301-329- 5066 56 etc IS A SCAM ARTIST CLAIMING TO BE A DONATION SITE FOR FIREMEN/ EMTS. ITS BOGUS.... U CANT TAKE IT OFF UR TAXES, THEY WILL OFFER TO SEND THINGS IN WRITTING STILL A RIP OFF. NO ONE LEGIT CALLS U AT 730 PM SUNDAY. CALL UR LOCAL FIREHOUSE TO DONATE, its the best way to dnate or give time for local ppl who actually could use monies to protect us. my fire dept is having a fish fry on good friday .. most fire depts do or emt stations.
Was out, came back and this number was on my caller ID. I called it, said the number was not working. These scammers need to be stopped. Getting a call at 8:39 on Sunday night like this is a no no. Actually I received a call last Sunday night around 9 p.m. asking for donations, don't know if it's the same company. I told the man never to call me again on a Sunday night last week. Can't have a private life anymore.
Clarksville is not far from our location. They have called several times; nobody answers when you pick up. Couple of days ago I got a live person but not sure it was from this number. As soon as he started his spell, I simply hung up. These scum never give up.
