As soon as I said hello, a computerized voice said he (don't remember if he gave his name) was calling for the Maryland Police Association (I searched and there is no such thing). I said I only talk to human beings and hung up. Most likely a scam. I've been getting more and more of these robo calls that are computerized voices. They try to sound human and answer your responses in a believable way. You ask, Are you a person. And the voice says yes I am, why would you think I'm not. I think I'm getting pretty good at detecting these computer voices. I just hang up now.
"John" (man or machine, I do not know) just called .. I told him we were not interested, he tried to ramble on, and I hung up. Should "John" call again, I now have his name and will report him/his number to the FTC.
