After I received the latest no-one-on-the-other-end call (Clarksville, MD 301-329-5066), I called our phone company and complained. The agent was very understanding and helpful. She provided two suggestions for me to try. First, contact the Unlawful Call Center at 800 518-5507 to report the no-one-on-the-other-end call number appearing on your phone or CID. If you want to try the agent's second suggestion, try the following:
-> after receiving the unwanted call, dial 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,#
-> and then repeat this same series of key dialing including the # key,
-> and then hang up.
I have not tried this process but will try it after I receive my next no-one-on-the-other-end call.
Received unanswered calls from 301-329-5055, 11/8/15 1807; from 301-329-5060 11/8/15 1619, and 301-329-5066 11/5/15 1949. As they would say on "Get Smart," there seems to be a pattern here.
