Who called from 3013580936

Got a robotic call from this number stating that it is the IRS and this is the second attempt to collect a debt or make payment arrangements before we would have to go before a Federal magistrate or Federal prosecutor. I called them back and they didn't have the right name. Asked me if we were both working? I said no, neither of us work and he said that the call had been made in error and we could disregard it.

Same story -- recording starts in the middle, "final notice", no ID, threats of federal legal action. When I called the number,  a recording identified as IRS Criminal Investigation Division, said to call back with name, addr, and last 4 of SSN, and an agent would call me back.

Robot voice threatening criminal prosecution as to IRS matter. Don't call these scammers and notify your local district attorneys office. Called to our home in Nassau County New york.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
