Sorry to anyone listed here that was upset for this call.. but with your help in finding out who they are I can now just put a block on that number with ease. Did myself have a look at their site as well earlier. Wanted to possibly advertise my home business there.. so many others are FREE and this was not so, I too just clicked out and went on with doing other things here with accepting some deliveries. Wow in the middle of a set up, phone rang, of course not by me. Went to answer it stopped. So PIT STOP... did a search and saw what this was. Thinking REALLY?? REALLY THANKS to all who shared here!! Made this an easy number to block from further calling here...
I just noticed that I have about 20 missed calls from this number (at work) - I called it back and it went to Vocus - they have reached me before and they are pitching PR services - if you are getting calls after dropping a PR piece elsewhere it is likely that they skim them looking for leads.
They left me a message, claiming I had registered with them for services -- which is not the case. They must have sifted my number from a press release that I recently put out about a book.
