7 calls since 0700. Sometimes I answer and they hang up. Finally spoke to someone that said I had recently requested information about starting a career. When I said no she said 'you aren't interested in starting your own business in the most lucritive businesses in the world, travel and vacation?'. I said no...and I wanted to be removed fromt their list. She hung up on me. May I add that she sounded highly intoxicated or .. something.
I started getting calls from this number on Tuesday. I got six calls on tuesday, nine calls on wednesday, eight calls on thursday, and have already received several today. I have not answered once. Any advice on how to stop this?
This is what you have to do, alot of times, these callers are from a telemarketing firm,,,,, if you become firm with the caller and insist that they take you off their "list" They will most likely not call again,,,,, if that dosen't work, prank the caller into thinking that you are an FBI investegator investigating a murder,,,,, you can go a number of different ways with this, but if you do this. THey will not call back..... only works for non-automated systems.
I am getting these calls too. Spoke to someone at Greenbelt, they say it is a mailbox at Verizon. Just checked, number is now disconnected, guess they changed their number. My provider says the only thing they can do is change my number to make the calls stop. Guess thats what I'll have to do. What a pain.
