Five calls over past few weeks, never left a message, just a hangup. Sorry, we're full up, don't need any. Due to huge number of, uncontrolled volume of solicitation calls and ineptness of of Feds to enforce DNC List, I don't answer any call where I don't recognize the number/caller. I also have a Digitone Call Blocker. It sees incoming number, picks up and hangs up after one ring. This number got blocked today. Blocks any 10 digit phone number from all over the country, Canada, MX, etc. Verizon only blocks local area code numbers (useless). Digitone unit has an 80 number memory.Thanks to calling plans, callers from Seattle can call all day to East Coast. At least with an 800 number, if you picked up live or voice mail, it cost them.
Receive calls from 301-476-0489 daily and if I don't answer they never leave a message. When I answer they hang up or no one speaks on the other end. When the phone rang today I answered quickly and waited a few seconds with several hellos. Yippy, I've got them on the phone. After demanding the name of the company several times the man finally said that he was calling from "Sunrise Credit Services". They were not even calling for me. I told them to delete my number from there system and place me on their DNC list
Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so. Devices nowday's can block up to 1500 numbers along with blocking whole area codes.
