rcvd message from "ACH" no name left also regarding "account" no specifics as to origin of account, from what i read above they are fishing for your social security number-my plan is to add the 301-476-1044 to my cell phone list of blocked callers.
I've received many calls from this number, but usually when I pick up the phone, no one is there. Yesterday I received a message on voice mail that started with a couple beeps, then a guy came on and said, "ACA, can you hold please." He left, and my vm ended the call.
First, anyone who calls and puts me on hold is going to have their number blocked! That's about the rudest thing any company can do - How dare they assume that their time is more valuable than mine?
Second, I have no outstanding debt and I've never taken out a payday loan. I don't know what they want, but they're not going to get it from me.
I have blocked the number, which shows up on my ID as ACA Financial. Unfortunately, when I've done that in the past, these scam companies have either had their employees use their personal phones, or they've given their employees throwaways.
I received a call from this number saying it was ACA and to call them back for a matter that is in need of immediate attention and they say to call back to 844-246-8944
The call I received earlier from 844-246-8944 and left a message I needed to call them at 301-476-1044. Same place as the first number, just a different number. It is the same scammer. Not happening.
