Constant phone calls, up to 5 per day. Stating they are the IRS, noted a warrant would be out of my arrest if I did not verify my information. They had my name, my ex-wifes name, my home address but wanted my birthdate to verify they were talking to the right pers. I refused, then the threats started, stated the Sheriff's department would be at my house today, then hung up.
Automated message from the Internal Revenue Service. THIS IS A SCAM. They threaten that an action legal lawsuit was placed against me for fraud and that there is an arrest warrant in "my" name. They never specified WHO they were talking about. The irs will NOT call you. Do not call and report to the US Treasury page like I did.

He addressed himself as an agent in Washington D.C. with the Federal Government Treasury Dept., stating I was selected to receive a grant. I would not have to pay any taxes or pay back any money. I could spend it on anything I choose to. Gave me a confirmation number and phone # to call back. He said it would be the Treasury Dept. and I'd have to give them all my info!!
Then he asked my name. Of course I gave him a fake name and he accepted it. Now think about this....if I was selected to receive this so call grant....he should already know my name??!! People please be careful!!! SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!!
