I didn't answer but a robo call left a message talking about tax fraud, how I was going to be arrested, and needed to call immediately.

What you have described sounds like one of those IRS scams coming from overseas. Both my mother and childhood friend have received them. Ignore the call and if you can block the number.

Do a search on call blocking devices and phones.If its a cell phone, there are free call blocking apps out there including trac & straight talk.

This is an ira scam, i got a call and message exactly like it, and called back and what to u know rhey answered saying i comited tax evation and some other buul. I havent had a job for the past 5 or 6 years so i dint have to gile taxes at all. All the callers are aribic or some type of forien poeople and they oviously have hundreds of people doing it for them cause you can hear the same ethnicity voice in the background. For one the ira will never contact you over the phone, only an oficial letter. Once i said to them i havent worked or have s.s. they just hung up. So i called back and some other aribic answered and i said i was just hung up on and all he was interested in was trying to find out who it was that hung up on me trying to resolve my anger because it seemed he was teying to eas my mind by saying they have delt with the person that hung up on me because i guess thats the mind set of someone profesional in his mind. U could tell that this was the case. He also kept asking my name over and over and after all this he still couldnt get to the real reason y i called of y im being audited, at that point, the effort of trying to be professional had crumbled and my susspition of him, so i asked if this was even a legitimate companey and all i heard i think, real quick was ok b1tch, and then click. He hung up on me. Then i realized y rhe first hang up was, was because she knew from me not having a job in forever and no s.s she knew that i was wondering what the f and how she had nothing to go on so she hung up. So ya this number supposvily based in maryland is a SCAM trying to take advantage of people and peoples money. The ones i talked to seemed pretty amaturish, lol. They didnt get any of my information, cause thank god i was suspitious pretty early on. So please people spread this number around the wep and soical media so no one gets their life ruined by these pittiful peices of crap foriegn cowards.

I received the same message to call. They must have gotten a new number to keep trying to scam people. They'll keep trying if people keep falling for it.
