Claimed it was an officer that called on a automated line.and that it was the irs and i committed tax fraud which i get my taxes done professionally. And to call back or i will get arrested..first off, if the irs is going to contact you.they always contact by mail! always call the irs yourself to make sure..i knew it was a scamm and i tried calling back the number to mess with them but it says all circuits are busy.
Terribly fake IRS scam call. The recorded voice sounded like Microsoft Sam. Basically saying how I had to call them back or I was going to jail. Blows my mind how bad these scammers are, but I suppose there are always people foolish enough to fall for it.
