I got a phone call saying that it is from IRS and that I must call "right away". Nothing new....had the same phone call last year at the same time (after April 15th). The funniest is that we DO NOT put this phone number on our tax return. We have a house in a different state and the phone number they are calling is our APARTMENT number which we are renting at this time! :)
I got this number which identifies himself as IRS. Them want me to call back right away; otherwise, IRS will hold serious legal action against me. This is 100% IRS scam.

A caller (female voice with American accent) left a message saying that IRS Criminal Investigation needs to speak on an urgent matter that may lead to charges. After calling the number, the answering bot (male voice with Asian accent) said to leave name and number so IRS Criminal Investigation can return call.
