Funny, while a zoning hearing was going on last night, Blaine Young called. At least that is what the caller ID said. Obviously it was not him because he was sitting on the zoning comity board at the time of the call. Please don't give this bozo any money or your votes. He keeps giving future tax money away to developers in the form of allowing them to receive the taxes that would be collected by the county and use the money to pave the streets for the development they are building. This is new but it impacts every Frederick county tax payer because we are all helping build a development. From campaign contributions, it has been documented that just one developer gave Young over $40,000 through smaller contributions from shell corps.
Jim, I recognize Blaine's name, but it bugs me no end when I get political calls, even from candidates with whom I may agree. They are all told that I'll look at mailings, but DO NOT CALL me. Consequently, when I got the call, I didn't answer it, but I always report, here, for others' sake. The politicians and PACs can try, but they'll never get an answer from me and I abhor my dinner being interrupted.
