I got a call from the same number. They wanted my personal information too and would not answer even who they were. I assume it is a debt collector, but don't they have to identify who they are?
After filing an FCC complaint (again!), I called this number and spoke with someone. They are definitely bill collectors. Some guy named "Rick" gave them my number and they've been trying to find him to track down their money. He must've just made up the number when he applied for credit somewhere. I checked my credit report and there has been no suspicious activity, so I'm good. They were actually pretty nice when I called them and they said they'd remove my number from their calling list.
Got a call answered they wanted to know who I was and my address for a personal business matter. Said they were the CDA group. I refused to give them any information until they gave me information about who they were. They refused to answer so I hung up.
Yea, I know I owe for an early termination fee and CBE has been calling me for months now from several different numbers with several different area codes. I don't have the money to pay them and I will not answer their calls- they just won't give up...... yikes!!!!!!
