I got a call from the same number. They wanted my personal information too and would not answer even who they were. I assume it is a debt collector, but don't they have to identify who they are?
I get a call usually at 8 a.m. every morning. Then they call anywhere from 3 to 8 more times during the day. If it is a legitimate debt, why don't they just leave a message so we can call them back? With so many scams out there, don't they know this just throws up another red flag and makes people avoid the number all together. Very poor business practices, low morals, bad ethical conduct. I understand that many people will be rude but that is no excuse.
Boy is whoever it is persistent. Usually call in the morning, even on the weekend. Dont' leave a message. Because no message is left, I have no idea who's calling. AND because no message is left, I have no reason to call back!
