Got a call from 301-977-1675 at 1:25 pm EST today, Friday. Caller ID said "Unavailable". I answered to find out what sort of scammer was calling. A recorded message began, "This is cardmember services..." then cut off. (Since I had music playing in the background and hadn't said anything yet, maybe they realized they were getting nowhere.) Sounds like the usual credit card scam. Probably the calling number was spoofed to match my area code and exchange. I reported it to the FTC anyway.
