Unrecognized number.  Blocked for the future.  Scumbags

Said he was calling from Medicare and that he needed to verify my information.  I just said that I would call and verify him.

Caller had name and my cell # and told me I was eligible for a back brace. I blew the whistle into the phone.

What number starts with 121?  Very odd.

My elderly mother received a call from this number at 8:30 pm and the caller claimed to be a Medicare representative.  The caller had and confirmed her home address and began asking about health history, etc.  After gaining her trust, the caller asked for DOB, SS # as well as other identifying information.  My mother suffers from advance dementia and was unaware that this was not a legitimate call from Medicare.
