Caller ID said "Not Available", telltale sign its telemarketer scum. However, as always, I NEVER answer my phone to an unrecognized number. Straight to voice mail. If its important, they will leave a message. If not, it just cost them "TIME" and time is money. Glad to burn up their dollar. It seems that more and more publicity is being given to these low lifes and the message is the same....don't answer your phone to unrecognized or unknown numbers. I am really hoping that this recommendation will spread to ALL of American households. By not answering our phones to these types of callers - we can...and will....put them out of business.
They're hustling dental insurance... I sometimes call back, most do not answer, bu this one did. I let her go through the "Hello, my name is...., I ask why she called me, she stated the above reason, then I hung up on her. I rarely bother calling back but sometimes it just feels good to let them know what it's like to be annoyed.
Called the number back & "Joanne" answered- she asked if I was looking for dental coverage. I stated I was on the "Do Not Call Registry" and asked for my number to be taken off of her list. Nothing else was said...long silence...then she hung up.
