At times I find "some" amusement to the scum that attempts to use telemarketing, spoofing etc to get us to answer our phone. I received a call from 302-219-9239 on March 10, 2017 and entered a post (see above). Rather then just say the same thing I already said, just read the post above. Since that time I have heard that FINALLY there is legislation in the works to get the telephone companies to block numbers that are coming from known overseas telemarketers and robo type callers. It can not come too soon. Even if the phone company enacts this policy, I will continue to NEVER.....EVER answer my phone to unknown numbers. If its my home phone, the call will ALWAYS be picked up by the answering machine. If it's my cell phone, I swipe the call straight to voice mail. Let whoever, talk to the machine. The only way to put this type of scum out of business is burn up their money. You can't keep a business open if you don't ever get any customers.
That's one way to handle these annoying telemarketers, but I don't even want a VM. I let it ring twice, click on "TALK" and then click on "OFF." I don't even want to hear the phone RING if I don't know them.
I NEVER answer and unknown number, and have recently taken a further step. I hate to hear the phone ring and ring and.....so I now take a further step. I 'click' on TALK and leave it for a second of three, then hit OFF. Just to not be annoyed more than these calls are already annoying.
Yeah this is some piece of crap named Jennifer saying it was some low cost dental stuff. I rambled off a 30 second rant that likely reduced her wanting to commit suicide and hung up. Garbage. Fit for a firing squad.
