I didn't look at the dates till After I read your posting. I was in shock after reading my name. I can't even tell you how many of these identical calls I , and my co-workers have gotten. How sad that the elderly give into this blackmail and give these thieves money. We are coping with criminal identity theft with my son and even had someone use his deceased fathers name for a weeks hospital stay. Unbelievable! There seems to be no end to all of this . This can destroy your life.
I received an automated call saying they were from the IRS and they have filed a lawsuit against me for back taxes. Her name is: Tiffany Geldof. According to Google she lives in Delaware. I didn't recognize the number, rejected it. Listened to the voicemail. I downloaded a new app so all callers have to un block their number. All of their information shows up on my caller ID. Name and phone number.
You have lost your mind! My cellphone can't make automated calls. You should have posted your name so people can see you make stuff up. I receive fake calls from IRS, usually a foreign accent but it never even knows the name of the person it's supposedly calling. And the IRS Will never call you. I haven't had that phone no. For a long time. Everybody I know has received a fake IRS Call. Sorry, I am way too busy to do something so stupid.
FYI..."just me" hasn't been here since April 2016. Maybe someone used your information to "spoof" the IRS scam call. Scammers have been known to do that if someone they called to scam "engages" them in a heated discussion. It's a possibility.
