I didn't look at the dates till After I read your posting. I was in shock after reading my name. I can't even tell you how many of these identical calls I , and my co-workers have gotten. How sad that the elderly give into this blackmail and give these thieves money. We are coping with criminal identity theft with my son and even had someone use his deceased fathers name for a weeks hospital stay. Unbelievable! There seems to be no end to all of this . This can destroy your life.

I just received a call telling me a warrant was issued for my arrest for check fraud. They would not give me any information. I called the number back continuously for about 15 minutes. This is not the IRS. Each time a new person answered. They first identified as the IRS, but when they saw I kept calling they just answered with a 'Hello', then asked me why I kept calling back. They would not tell me where they were located. The final call I made one of the women told me they were located in the Vatican. Seriously. I guess stupid people can try and run scams too.
