The call is from a company called WN Positions, which claims to be an employment placement service (and also an education placement service) but is just a scam. The Better Business Bureau has issued a warning about the company: http://www.bbb.org/blog/2013/04/fake-employme ... ith-scam-calls/
I interrupted his pitch, told him I was a federal agent and I didn't understand why they thought I needed their services. I swear I heard his heart jump and crack a couple ribs. He very quickly and politely apologized for the mix-up and promised it would not happen again.
This number called my cell last week. I answered the call and when I did they hung up. Out of curiosity I called the number to see who it was and why they called me. When it answered, it said that it was some sort if employment agency and that I had been online and indicated that I was looking for employment, which I had not. It had an option to put in your number if you don't want them calling you again. I didn't do that as I figured that is a way for them to harass people.
