I forgot to mention the first thing we did was CANCEL THE CREDIT CARD, then we disputed the charges. The bank sent us a form to fill out to initiate the dispute. The bank re-imbursed me for the funds "temporarily" until the dispute is settled permanently.
My bank called this morning to report unusual activity. Thank God they did because when I signed onto my account to check my balances, keep-help and "lifelock" have stolen ovcer $1000 from me in the last 2 days!! My bank has reversed the charges but I've had to get a new card and I'm very ticked
While checking my charge account for other reasons, I saw two credit holds on my VISA card from KEEP-HELP.COM for $2.95 on 7/10/2008 and $29.95 on 7/12/2008. We checked the web site to see what it was about, and noticed the links in the drop-down boxes had XXX type stuff. I called my bank and canceled my card immediately. Later, these showed up as charges of $2.98 and $30.25 respectively. Both charges included the phone number 302-295-3951 in the info. I never called the phone number. I put through disputes for these two charges with my bank.
