Same story. Got a call from "Consumer's Clearing House" stating I've won a large sum of money. Call gets disconnected. They call me every day several times. Today I told them to please remove me from their call list, and the guy on the phone started mocking me!
Just received call from this number for my father Wiley Patterson. Supposedly from Publishers Clearing House with a second place winning of $500,000 to be delivered by courier on Wednesday between 9&11.
Person with a heavy foreign accent calls and tells me he is with a law firm in Wilmington Delaware and his firm is calling to confirm that I have received notice of my winnings from "Clearing House Sweepstakes". He did not say "Publisher's Clearing House". It's possible because of the accent most people think he has said Publisher's when he has not. He asks me if I received the Blue Notification envelope about my prize winnings. Tells me to sit down and then says I have won second place prize of $500,000.00. Since I didn't whoop and holler asks how I feel about winning half a million dollars. I told him I'll believe it when I see it. Then he hangs up. I check and find 302 area code is from Delaware and try to call back. Get a stock message "you have reached 302-319.....please leave a message." I hang up and find this site. What a croc. They didn't even let the other shoe drop to tell me how much money I had to send in for "processing fees" to get my check! Maybe they'll get the idea all Rednecks aren't so dumb after all!
I also received a call from this number stating i had won $500,000.00 from consumers publishers clearing house but he didnt ask a lot of personal info. Said for us to get ready to accept check when they deliver in person Thursday but I know it's a scam
