I received this call today, and several times prior. Previously, I just hung up. Today, with the knowledge that they have been phoning my friends and relatives, I decided to "bite" and Pressed 9 to talk to a human being. I was asked my name and refused to provide it. I asked the name of the business and was told "Eastern Arbitration." I was also told that there was legal action being taken against me, and that I might even receive a summons. I hung up.
After reading these posts, doing a little digging, and calling (302-342-8805), I discovered a few things that may or may not be helpful:
I called the number and, even though I was told I had reached Eastern Arbitration, I asked if their name was Arcadia Financial (a name I had also seen associated with this number). After a very long pause, I was told "no."
Approaching the call with a perplexed tone, I asked for and was given this address: 73 Greentree Dr, Dover, DE, 19904.
I ended the call.
Then, I looked up that address to discover that it is a UPS location. So, I called them back to find out why.
When I asked the question, they hung up on me.
I called again, and received the same response.
I called again, and my call went to a voice mail box for "Jeffrey Thompson."
Done for today!
I received several message from this number (302) 342-8805,did not identify Me by name,this is My cell
phone,.It is a pre- recorded message,they stated that they have a State and Federal claim filed against
Me. i have excellent credit,no bankruptcy,I don't owe the State or Federal.They also claimed on one
message that they would come to My home and work as previous post.I am retired from My previous
employer-out of the area-so good luck and as far as My home good luck also.
I am also on the do not call list.Tired of these stupid calls.I will not return the call back to them,since
I do not know if I am the person they are looking for or what it is in regard's to.Glad other people are
also getting these calls.Now I know it is a complete scam!!!!
Message was a recording- They left a message for someone who "might" owe federal and state taxes. After, reading the post left on this website, I'm pretty sure this is a scam!!

We are getting calls for our good citizens saying that they are receiving calls from folks that are leaving messages that they have a criminal summons. We can assure you that if you have any processes that need to be served we do it in person with the exception of subpoena's to appear and testify in court. A couple of numbers that the calls are coming from are 844-858-2905 and 302-342-8805. After doing a little research other areas of the country are getting hit by these numbers. In a nutshell the scammers try to badger you into going down and sending them money by Western Union or Money Gram or Green Dot.The best thing to do with these callers is to not pick up the phone, don't answer them and above all do not give them any money or your personal information.
