They called our landline at 954 pm! I didn't answer but looked up info on this site. I had calls from these people before who claimed to be windows support and I messed with them and told them to take us off the call list. They are lowlifes. I don't think anyone has the time to deal with their stupid scam.
Jack, called at 0730, he stated my computer was going to crash, he stated that they were getting a Windows message it was going to crash. I asked which computer I have four. He said to go sit in front of it and he would tell me what to do. I said I would have to call him back .
Same call here this noon hour, calling my cell phone, telling me they are from Windows and that my computer is causing viruses on a main network. I let them do their spiel if i have time to play with them, then drop the bomb on them that i know they are a scam and tell them that i have the FBI tracing the call. Sometimes they hang up when i say that. Sometimes they continue to deny they are a scam. Sometimes i get cussed at. One time i had one in a panic and i could hear him in the background talking frantically to others in hindi or whatever they are speaking, clearly afraid that they were being traced, and then he hung up. I had a real good laugh over that one in particular. They had left me alone for awhile, but now i see they are back at it again since i got the call at noon. Sigh.....guess it's time to play with them again lol
an hour later I find this missed call.. No message left.. Would it be because my voice mail lets them know they have reached the office of Agent Sealy Booth with the FBI or could they see I was outside talking to my Federal Probation Officer Son outside when they called? By the way, my voice mail message people hear, has cut my scam/spam calls from 8 to 12 a wk, to only 2 this wk
